Happy Birthday to me!

It's my birthday today - yay! I am now 17, and sadly the blog name no longer applies.....but I shall change it when I come back from my holiday in a couple of weeks.

I am a big jewelry wearer, but I always have a few pieces I go back to. One of these is a long chain with a tiny little skull on the end - really cheap but I love it so much that even with the discolouration I still wear it years on!

The little crystals in the eyes are cute - the bigger crystal on the left though belongs to my other go-to necklace with a wolf on it.

I always am looking for this sort of jewelry - tough but feminine. Does anyone have any good recommendations for affordable but good quality things like this?

PHWOAR heat!

It's been so damn hot the last few days especially. I can't cope with it, I seem to always put on too many or too few clothes when going out! 

Anyway, a few outfit posts. The first is a couple of weeks old and the second is yesterdays.

Sorry about the pose, I don't know what the hell I'm doing, but it was the only decent shot of the outfit my sister took.

I wanted to make this dress more day-wearable, so threw the t-shirt on. It kinda gives a 50s-clash feel which I like.

Camden blues

I have done all my exams now (hooray!) - well except for an AEA in english but that doesn't really count...and it doesn't matter if I pass that or not! So no revision for that hehe!

I have been going out and enjoying myself a lot which is so nice and such a relief after school this year. Plus, I get to wear my own clothes nearly every day which is a fun chance to experiment.

This photo kinda shows the awesome jacket I'm wearing. It's from Zara and has a deconstructed-chanel-jacket kinda vibe. I LOVE it and the lining is blue and white spotty which is the cherry on top. Photo taken by the lovely Joanna in Camden.

Rodarte, leathery yumminess!

I know I don't post often anymore, but I'm trying to ease myself back into blogging. It got to the point where it was a chore for me to post (cliche in the blogging world right now, I know) and the fun was going out of blogging. So now, I'm going to post when I want to and not just for the sake of posting.

I am feeling quite inspired lately, and with study leave and AS levels over by the end of next week, I should have more drive and time to post so keep an eye open over the next few weeks!

Today's outfit:

This is a variation of the same basic itemsthat I have been wearing A LOT lately. This jacket is my favourite wardrobe piece at the moment, kindly lent to me by one of my best friends, Sam. 

The boots are also being worn daily - a bargain buy at £70 down to £10 in Topshop! 

These two items are brand new this week. Both from Topshop. 

The shorts are something I'd been looking for for a while - couldn't find the perfect vintage pair so caved for these. Studs and rips galore - yum! Plus the knitted top is perfect for the weather and allows for my Rodarte cravings to be satisfied.

Onwards to revise! Woop!
